This game makes for a solid sequel.

In my opinion, this game surpasses the first in certain aspects and even though I enjoyed the first one a lot more. I think this games story concept is rather awesome.

Pros:
-Revamped the Battle system to the new tales of standards
-Interesting story, awesome plot twists
-Capturing animals as allies ftw
-Wii controls are nicely done, the ring mechanics are better thought out.
-all the characters from the first being party members
-nice nods of nostalgia
-Emil's other side is utterly badass.
-improved graphics, cut scenes are handled better along with characters movement from a cinematic point
-new world map is amazing, no more obnoxious walking around.

Cons:
-The game is a lot shorter than the other tales game, but understandable due to this being fan service and the new world map cutting time down.
