Tales of the Abyss improves on the proven Tales formula, but can be far to repetitive at times.
One thing I always hear as a complaint about this game is that it doesn't give you enough freedom. I have no idea what these people are talking about! You can pretty much go anywhere you want for the majority of the game!
One thing I did hate about this game though, is how you keep having to travel back and forth between places that you've already been. It is EXTREMELY repetitive and seriously drags down the overall experience. Go see the king, have a talking scene, go fly across the world and see the pastor, have a talking scene, go see the king again, have a talking scene, on and on and on.
I recommend this game to anyone who liked Symphonia. In many ways this game is a step up over that legendary game, and therefore is worthy of any Tales fan's attention.
