Familiar gameplay, new moves, new characters, overall excellent game.

This game truely makes the Tales games proud. You play a roudy teen (wow, not really changing the main character's personalities, eh?) who has been kept up in his mansion for all his life. Although, one day when he was young, he was kidnapped and lost all of his memories of past events when he was found. So of course, he gets released into the outside world one day and totally lacks common knowledge (oh boy). You meet an interesting group of characters (and even one with a last name similar to the name of a FFIV character... think of it... Guy ______). And of course, there's the ever famous, free-style, do whatever you want battle system. But wait, there's more! This game even comes suited with:
- Great acting!
- Great (get out of my head) music!
- Lively animation!
- Highly detailed animations
AND EVEN:
- ANOTHER character with a gender undeterminable, well... until you hear their voice that is.
But yes, this game is loaded with everything a great RPG needs, and it will definately give you a great run for your money!
