You can begin with a character created by yourself.Then you start doing quests like bring to somene,destroy,rescue,get materials,etc.You start to meet with charchters from the tales series like Lloyd Irving,Genis and Raine Sage,Kratos,Luke,etc.Characters are from Tales of Symphonia,Tales of Abyss,Tales of Legendia,etc.You Unlock new missions and new areas as you go on,You can level up your character or get some nice armor and weopons.You can also get missions to get weopons and armors later in the game.Then you have to track down and kill a monster who eats Mana out of worlds and destroys them.Thats basically how the story goes.The action. system is like other Tales games.You can ask and unlock characters from other Tales games to plasy as and help in missions.This is a great game and I would recomend you all to buy it.
