It could have been better...

User Rating: 6.5 | Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology PSP
Story - The idea of the world tree was ok for bringing in several Tales of characters into the game, however, I found the main plot is uninteresting and boring.

Gameplay - Utilizes an LMBS similar to Tales of the Abyss. It is fun being able to play as some of your favorite Tales characters but after a while, it gets boring. The quests are ridiculous. You find yourself repeating the same quests over and over throughout the entire game. They are also tedious because on many quests, you need to go into a dungeon and search for something. Trust me, going back and forth into the dungeon gets really boring.

Audio - The music was decent. It consisted of several enhanced versions of the original Tales of games as wells as some new ones for Radiant Mythology.

Additional Notes - The game itself just throws everything at you, literally. You have many things you can do such as continuing the main story, quests, cooking, forging, etc. However, everything is the same each time you do it. It lacks multiplayer settings as well. You may exchange items with a friend, but that's practically useless since the player can forge their own items. There are no friend battles in the game, which is a shame.

Overall - Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology was a complete disappointment. Do yourself a favor and just stick with another Tales game.
