I have to say this game is definitely NOT what i expected. Its better. WEll, sorta. Its not your typical tales game, its more of a dungeon crawler/ quest-type game. that doesnt make it a bad game. it just makes it different from other tales games. THis game doesnt have an in depth and magical story like other tales games. in fact, its story is just there so the game has some sort of a background. Again, not a bad thing, but not a good thing either. However, there is a reason i gave this game the score that it has, instead of something like a 6. and that is the battle system! most rpg's are turn based in battle, right? well, this is the exception! its in real time, and u fight with either by yourself or with up to 3 CPU's! (at the same time) against enemies that move around and attack(still at the same time) you can combine magic attacks and techniques for huge combos! the other great part of this game is the graphics. thses graphics are amazing for any handheld game to this day! its almost good enogh to rival the ps2(but not THAT good yet). Just because i dont want to tell u about the rest of the game so i dont spoil it for you, i will get to the bottom line: if your a tales fan, i reccomend this. IF your looking for an RPG or just a game to get you into the tales series, this isnt for you.
