Please sir, may i have some more?
Vesperia has an active battlefield combat system, in other words you don't take turns. This works really well i thought but it is possible to just button bash your way through some battles, which can occasionally get repetitive.
What really makes this game stand out though is its style. The story takes a while to get going but once you get into it there is a lot of depth to the characters and this is what drawed me in most.
The voice acting was pretty good too. I was surprised how much of the dialogue was voice acted to, it was pretty much all scene were voiced which was great to see so much effort put in and with Anime cut scenes aswell this really added to the quality of the game.
I think the easiest way to look at this game is that it has a lot of charm and it is apparent that a lot of effort was put into making this game the spectacle it is. And even though here in england we had to wait a long...long time for its release it was well worth the wait and worth every penny of that £44.99 retail price (ouch though!) This is a game that could rival Final Fantasy VII, not only in story and gameplay but in sheer replayability.
And don't know about the rest of you guys but i'm ready for a sequel!
