This game is a big bang in a tiny little package....

I went into this game very skeptical... very very skeptical. I first tried it with the Wiimote/ Nunchuk combo, and it seemed very fluid and fun, but it offered only a single attack button (A) and a special move button (B). It was fun, but being a huge 2D fighter fan, and thinking back to MVC2, I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would.

Then came the Gamecube controller...

This completely changed how the game played and felt. There is a ridiculous amount of unlockables. I have to say that Playing as Frank from Dead Rising is so much fun. He offers a completely uniques set of moves that adds a lot of humor to the game. I am still working on unlocking things, but I read about the Ultimate All-Shooter minigame to unlock, and it seems like this could have been sold as a Wiiware game for 800 points, but adding as an unlockable here is amazing. I am going to thoroughly play this game. The online mode is awesome, I have a good internet connection so I didn't experience any lag.

If you like 2D fighters and any games from the VS series, this is definitely a pickup.
