This game is a instant classic. It has everything you could want in a FPS (Minus a campaign). The game revolves around teamwork so if you're the lone wolf type then for the sake of all the good tf2 players, don't get this. What makes the game fun is a sorta rock paper machine gun system. But whats great about the game is that if you are good enough, those disadvantages of your class can be overcome. This insures that the best players always come one top. Some people have complained that you need no skill to play this. In a way they are right. The game takes the phrase easy to play hard to master to a whole new level. Anyone can pick this up and have fun, but only the true tf2 players will excel at it. The game comes with 9 classes that have their own advantages and disadvantages. The heavy for instance is the slowest, but can take and dish out the most damage thanks to his bulking size and minigun. While the scout is the weakest, but is also the fastest and can even double jump. With his scattergun (Modified shotgun) and speed the scout can be devastating in close quaters combat (Provided he avoids damage). The pyro can set people on fire, but has short rang, the engineer can build sentry guns and teleporters, the list goes on and on. What makes this even more fun is the assortment of modes that valve has cooked up for us. There's classics like capture the flag and control points, but the more interesting modes like king of the hill and payload really draw you in. My biggest complaint about modes is that there is no real team deathmatch. There is a mode called arena, but it goes by rounds and there is no respawning. Other than that though I love this game. There are even special items that can be unlocked for different play styles. So far valve has been supporting the pc version with all kinds of updates and patches. However the 360 version isn't as lucky so do you're best to avoid that. The graphics are also very fun to look at thanks to a cartoonish bloody style that holds all the mayhem together. Overall tf2 is a must have for valve fans or anyone who loves FPS's on the pc. On the 360, forget it, but for 20 bucks, you can't do better than this
