Better Than The First

User Rating: 6 | Tekken 2 PS
This is the first Tekken game that I played, and the reason that I continued playing it really. There is a vast array of characters within it, and although not being too challenging, is stillenjoyable. There is a good story mode within, Tekken having probably the best story mode of any beat-em-up game which foloows through right up to the current realease (6). There is a slight improvement in graphics from Tekken, but there are many more characters and from them, many more unlockable characters. Each character is then assigned to their own setting. There is also the Team Tag mode, which allows you to face the computer with multiple characters. As this was the first Tekken game that I played, in fact the first beat-em-up I played on the PS1, I was highly impressed with it, and, even though it is rather repetitive, it becomes more interesting when trying to master each of the individual characters. I would reccomend this game, but at this stage, only to a real die-hard Tekken fan, as there are many better games than this on the market, but at the time, it was probably my favourite game.
