A brilliant fighting game that shows of what the PSP can do with amazing graphics and sound and super-addictive gameplay

User Rating: 9 | Tekken: Dark Resurrection PSP
The Good:

It makes the PSP glued to your hands (Nearly literally!) with it's non-stop action // There are more than enough characters to chose from with new characters from Tekken 5 on PS2 // There are lots of different game modes // Character Customisation // It's very cheap!

The Bad:

Sometimes and I only mean Sometimes it can get annoying trying to move away from the character quickly // Deeper character customisation.

Gameplay: 9

The Gameplay is fantastic. There are heaps of game modes: Story Battle, Arcade Battle, Tekken Dojo, Attack and Bonus games. The 3 main modes here are Story Battle, Arcade and Tekken Dojo. Each of these will keep you entertained for a very good amount of time. When you get bored of one of them, you can do another and then you can go back again. You get fight money from winning battles in every mode or doing a minigame. You use this money to customise your character. This was a great idea because it keeps you playing or saving up for something to make your character look cool. There are 34 characters. Each one does different moves and has got a different story mode. In story mode. You find out why that character entered the tournament, and also what happens if they win. Controlling your character is easy. It's great because the PSP only has a limited amount of buttons.

Graphics: 10

I reckon could get onto the PS3 without much people noticing it's a PSP game. Could not be any better in any way. Everything looks amazingly real.

Sound: 10 The sound is also unmistakable. The soundtracks are great, and there are plenty of them too. Value: 9

You could play this game for ages. If you want to complete story mode with every character or even arcade mode, It will take you months. As I said before, Character Customisation keeps you playing to change your characters appearance.

Overall: 9.0

I had never owned a Tekken game before this one and I am more than glad I picked it up. If you were a Tekken lover right from the start, you would probably think it was even better than I thought it was.
