It still plays like all the other Tekken games, hard and frustraiting for any new comer to get into it.
Music: Tekken 4 and 5 both have the worst music out of the entire series but it is not as bad as Tekken 1 was. I still think Tekken 3 did better in the music department with the heavy trance music.
Graphics: The graphics improved over Tekken 4 making Tekken 5 the best looking 3D fighting game of its time period.
Sound: The sound effects have always sound the same in all the Tekken games, except this time there is a bone crushing effect in the game.
Gameplay: Still feels the same as all the other Tekken games, and if you are like me you want to be able to pick up a controller and just start playing the game your own way or by simply mashing buttons to enjoy the value. Unfornatly Tekken has always been a fighting game for super skilled gamers and only skilled gamers. If you try to mash buttons in this game you'll surly get the life beat out of you making it a less fun game for new comers. You have to have quick fingers if you wish to learn how to pull off chain combo's ( 9 hit combo's ) and at time it seems quite impossible to do that with King. If you go to practice and watch the CPU AI perform the moves you'll swear that GOD is sitting right next to you playing the game.
Presentation: The Presentation is great, introducing all the new and old characters of the game. Some of the character endings are stupid a few are really good to keep watching over and over again.
Final Words: Tekken 5 is still basically Tekken 4 except there are three or four new extra characters added to the series there are a few characters in Tekken 5 that are simple to control but you'll need allot of practice and hard work if you choose to play with an extremelly skilled player that plays allot like the CPU controlled AI. There is a final boss thrown in the game besides Heichachi or Orgre and he is quite a pain in the a** I detest over powered super characters in all fighting games including ones I never even played before. They are just worthless and win so easily with constant cheap shops ( Akuma from Street Fighter or Rugal from King of Fighters). Oh did I forget to mention you can customize your character in Tekken 5 ? Allot of games stole this idea from Virtua Fighter 4 except Tekken 5 has better items to mess around with. There are new stages added into the game but they aren't really impressive. 3D fighting games die out quickly.
