Very addictive, though it does have it's weak points

As a start to this review,I should say that I've been completely addicted to tekken since it's debut on the psp.I still play it on the train every day,and it commutes with me in a case with gran turismo also added in the mix.

Online: With tekken being launched for 5 days now here in the EU,it's already improved dramatically since day one. There already has been a patch, and the online function of the game has rare to no lag at the moment of playing.

Offline:Now that I've got the online part out of the way,I can start talking about the offline part of the game.First of all,I must say that I was somewhat confused when I first played the game, since the old arcade mode is now called ghost battle mode, and the story battle mode has been put in the scenario campaign mode of the game under the arena location.

Which brings me to the scenario campaign part of the game.I can keep it short:WHY NAMCO BANDAI?!. There really is no added value to this mode,it just annoys people who want to be able to buy new gear in an easy way.The gameplay of this mode isn't very smooth, and sometimes even disturbingly broken.

Luckily there still are the classic tekken modes, which are actually improved from the previous parts. The fighting has never been as smooth as in this game, the characters are more balanced and the multi-layered levels are just plain awesome. It really gives a gratifying feeling when you smash somebody through a glass floor.

Overall, the game only disappointed in one part of it,the scenario campaign mode.Luckily, you aren't forced to play it,so all you tekken fanatics can start off with this game the way they want to.
