It's still don't get mo' better than Tekken, baby!!

User Rating: 9.6 | Tekken Tag Tournament (Platinum) PS2
To be honest, Tekken Tag Tournament has to be the least ambitious game in it's series. It's just a Tag-Team version of Tekken 3 with better graphics. Many probably won't agree, but if you play Tekken as long as I have, You'd notice that the only real difference is a mode and one new character (who won't be seen in the other games). With that said, it doesn't mean that the game isn't dope; it show how much of a powerhouse franchise Tekken really is.

Sure it's 6 years old, but who care. The gameplay is as solid as it's ever been. The sound is what you'd expect from Tekken. There's a lot of replay value, include with the awkward-but-fun Tekken Bowl mode. The only real problem I had was that the endings weren't in CG, but in the gameplay graphics. Fortunately, that's not a big problem.

Tekken fans, you may be hell-press to find the game today. I was lucky to have it as my first Playstation 2 game. But if you do find it, I have no doubt that you'll enjoy it. Not the best in the series (that Tekken 5), but very close to perfection.
