Looks like the old original. Sounds like white-noise sound effects of an old console game. If we hadn't just received a bunged up release of Asteroids/Asteroids Deluxe I would say that something uniquely terrible just happened. However we DID just receive a less-than-accurate release of Asteroids and I am very dissapointed in the lack of care that is creeping into these releases. There is a great version of this in the original Xbox Atari Anthology, especially in 1080i mode. Considering that the Xbox 360 will run Atari Anthology, the only people that should buy this are those who have a 360 without the harddrive and own a memory card and have no other system with a version of Tempest and must have ANY version of Tempest before they go mad. If that's you, get it, if not, skip it.
