Three Terminator Games came out for the last generation of Systems (Referring to XBox/GC/PS2) they ranged on playable: Terminator: Dawn of Fate, to god awful Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines. In order to try and salvage any cred that the Terminator 3 had they released a 3rd person shooter known as Terminator: The Redemption. Out of the three games this one is the best. Not only is it the best it actually is pretty fun. You start off watching a video of a terminator enter a human hideout than bam it gets it's ass kicked via several shock rounds. When he comes to he has been reprogrammed not by John Connor but Katherine Brewster. It turns out this is the same exact Terminator that killed John. (Go Figure) He's been reprogrammed to go to the past and protect John with the hope of fixing the future so John doesn't die again. You really get a feeling that the times are bad. So the Terminator is sent out to make his way to the Time Displacement Chamber. Upon the way you help the resistance in fights, You'll engage everything from other Terminators to flying and ground based HK's But they added a challenge upon them capturing him he suffered severe systems damage so he'll require upgrades along the way. One of the problems is you'll need to constantly recharge your batteries until they are fixed via Upgrades. Unless you use a code. This game is way better than any previous Terminator game. I won't get into more of the story I don't want to spoil it. The major issue I had with the game was the upgrade system unless you cheat you will need to constantly charge up the Terminator. Which turns out to be more of a problem than a fun factor. It also had a combo fighting system when you get up close to a Terminator this can be narrowed down to bashing the A/B/X/Y buttons. this is why it gets a 7.5 out of 10 it also gets a T for Partial Nudity/Violence/Mild Language. So if you want to play a Terminator game I suggest this one.
