Due to Grand Turismo this is 1 of the most underated franchises of all time & T.D.5 is of its over looked classics!

Gameplay:
For one...what makes the Test Drive series stand out is its well organzied selction of cars and i know what your thinking... "Grand Turismo" has more of a car selction than test drive...true... but when you add a simple classic 5 stat system jus shwoing the speed, accleration, horsepower, handleing, and turing with an arcade style of gamplay then you got your self a diffent type of compettior instead of a cheap a$$ clone knock off. Unlike G.T with its complexd stats and over the top physics engine Test Drive elimenated all that and made the game a whole lot simpler and esaier to manuver your car and eaiser to under stand and that way it attracts the younger audinces like 10 to 15 year olds and its not jus only for an older audeince to understand its way of playing or up keeping ur slected car (so u see test drive is for mainly for the beginning noivce gamers that jus wants a simple formula with a arcade style feel and nothing over wleming or complxed while grand turismo is more for the experinced gamers thats used to the driving genure). Now for the controls..the controls are very easy and simple jus using X for gas and square to brake and so on and so forth (if you know wat im talking bout then i dont need to explain the controls any furuther.)The thing to the driving its hard and kind of too sensitive at first jus pendning on what kind of class and car you picked but you will eventuly will get the phyiscs and diffuclty in 5 mins tops.But the diffucluty is no joke the A.I means buisness and do whatevre it takes to win which means they will bump you and come form 5 places behind and preform a mircule..& lastly the modes of the game are not much jus 4 modes tournament, multyplayer, single player, time laped races, but over all the gamplay is good and good enough content to want to play it for a good a hour to 2 hours per gameplay to try & unlock sweet looking cars.
Graphics:
The graphics for the PS1 for its time could be a lil better since mostly evrything looks a lil too blocky & needs a huge improvment but other than that its decent enought o look at whie your having fun buring your freinds a$$'s while crossing that finsh line.
