From imperfectly modeled cars to unrealistic collisions, this game is just plain funny in an insulting way!

The tagline "...the MUST HAVE racing game of 1998" doesn't go after 10 years of shame... Maybe PSExtreme is faking this tagline. Just because I'm making fun of it, doesn't mean I think it's a bad game. Nope, I even got hooked to it, for a short time. Sadly, my obsession for Russia didn't exist during my P.S. Playing days, otherwise, I'll be racing my Chevrolet Camaro Z28 SS LT4 (excuse me? Z28 is different to SS, that's what it says in the game!) at Moscow! I'd love to do that! Going back to business... For the intro movie, or probably known as "trailer" by now, is pretty cool. I think Pitchshifter sang that, or was it Gravity Kills? I forgot. For it's graphics; it's not really H.D. but the cars' smooth lines make the cars stand out off the civilian cheapskates! Crashing at traffic can cause your car to somersault or spin or fly or even "breakdance" (I call it breakdance because the car spins while upside down!), turning the "3D Collisions" option can take those unreal crashes off your screen, but it will be boring to look at it. The tracks are really dull, I hate racing in Jordan! All that sand and tight curves can really annoy me in my tournament, not to mention it's the first track in the tourney (tournament)! My 2 favorites are Sydney, Australia; really made for high speed racing! And Moscow, Russia; not because I like Russia, but for it's weather and time, racing in a rainy night, I like that! For the gameplay; it's soooo hard, but not diamond hard like Need for Speed: Pro Street, by the way, it's the worst N.F.S. game I've played! The hard gameplay really takes your adrenalin away and lead you to giving up! You can't clip or nudge your opponents! They'll be zooming around the track like a tank! Your hit is like air for them, it won't affect their performance and race in the track! Indeed, every track its civilian cars, and not to mention police units. The cars are recognizable if you're looking at a far view, but by looking closely, there are a lot of imperfections in replicating the actual cars. The Dodge Viper doesn't have gold rims, but it does look good on it! The Chevrolet Camaro (1998) shouldn't have a small taillight, the Chevrolet Corvette (1998), supposedly, doesn't have an option for 6 spoked rims (the red one) or more than 10 spokes (the green one). The Plymouth Hemi Barracuda (a.k.a. 'Cuda) isn't supposed to have some weird looking rims, the one that looks like the ones from your opponents. The rims from the Aston Martin Project Vantage concept car doesn't have 6 spokes! The Ford Mustang Cobra S351 isn't supposed to have a wide body! That's not all I can say, but all have imperfections. Now, back to gameplay. The chase mode stinks a little; It takes time to arrest one car, more than 5 seconds of tailgating or grinding or drafting or hitting or shunting. At least my favorite car is one of the police units, I like the Chevy Camaro in black and white police pattern. For the soundtrack, it's kind of good, but not all are good for the game. Overall, I give it an 8 out of 10! 5 for graphics, 2 for it's tracks, .5 for it's cars and another .5 for gameplay!
