A very intriging game which deserves a checkout...
If you have connected your PS2 online, Then you probably should buy this game. If you don't, then you might get still get some nice cop chases round the highway's of Oahu. If you've played NFS MW, then you know that cop's are mercyless, but not in this game... Cheap AI programming bring's this game down by a bunch.
Each race you participate in Single-Player, The cop's have a programed course in which they drive in each race and The races are more of a chore to get $$$. Also The lack of gameplay(Only three event's, Race, Time Trail, and Speed in which you must get a certain speed over checkpoints similar to NFS MW Tollbooth races) is crappy which was taken from the X-box 360 which had more of a varaity.
Now, This game's graphics are decent and have alot for a PS2 game. The car models are very detailed and look almost identical to their real life counterparts.
The sound is also decent with varied sounds. Some songs which you willl hear are "No One Knows" from queens of the stone age, and even Metric.
This game multiplayer is MOOR and it takes a good advantage of that. Although on a negative side, it's kinda hard to get someone to race you..
Anyway's it's a great game which will be remembered as a "Masterpiece" and I recommend it.
