fun,addictive, but not complete

User Rating: 8.5 | Test Drive Unlimited PSP
Test drive unlimited is a free roam racing game in which you appear to be a everyday citizen but with some money to spare and you move to an island to buy a house and car to settle down

The Good:Huge island to explore, good graphics, excellent car models, great car choice, clubs to dominate and be rewarded for, good sound, good sense of speed, accurate and helpful car spec's

The Bad: repetitive scenary, stupid collision mechanics, not much customization

Graphics:8/10 awsome cars,good scenary
Gameplay:8/10 large scenary,good driving mechanics
Sound:7/10 good on high volume
Replay value:6/10 using different cars is good

I'll start on the scenary, the giant island is awsomely big and it takes months to explore all of it ,the problem is that all the secnary looks the same, its divided into villages, motorways and coastlines but all villages look the same and so do the motorways and coastlines so after your first hour of play you will know what the entire island looks like.

The ability to buy houses is a nice perk but all that matters is how many cars the garage can hold and where the house is on the map,you start at your house each time you load the game.

One thing that the producers did to make it a bit more realistic was to make different shops stock different parts and cars so if you want a part for your car you have to look up on the map which shop stocks parts for your make and then drive all the way to it.It's the same if you want to buy a car.

The majority of races are in clubs and if you win every race in a club then you become the chairmen and get rewarded with a free upgrade or car.

The textures of the cars are great but thats not what makes them look so great,They have a certain shine that I've only ever seen on a PS3 game which makes them look real.

Verdict:worth buying for any car fan
