This is a fun Poker game. I wanted to try out a Texas Hold'em game for my Nintendo DS, because I've been playing a demo version on my cell phone for the past year. I thought I really need to buy one, so I can play it on my DS. I bought "Texas Hold 'Em Poker DS" at Toys 'R Us for $7.96, and I can't believe how much fun I'm having for less than $10! This game is easily worth way more money, but I'm glad it is so cheap! That makes up for the fact that if you want to play on multiple DS's, you need a game for EACH player. If it was a $20 or $30 game that would be a BIG problem.
I like how you can use the Quick Play option if you want to have a quick game of Poker, or you can start a tournament if you want a longer challenge.
The graphics aren't amazing, but they are good. I mean it's a card game, what do you want, 3-D? The only other card game I have played on the DS is "Clubhouse Games", and this to WAY BETTER if you are looking to play Poker. I haven't tried "World Poker Champ" but I like this game so much, that I will just keep playing this one. The A.I. is good, and the betting works well. It is an enjoyable game. All in all, it a fun way to play Poker. So head out to Toys 'R Us today!
