Its poker, what else can you expect? You get 2 cards and then you have to use them to make a good poker hand with what the cards are on the table. There are only a couple of tactics in this game. Bluff or play you hand. So the gameplay isn't world class, but this game is free so I shouldn't be expecting Halo. You can set the table limit, buy in and all of that. Then you play. Since your hand is always randomizedthere is no way of telling whether your gonna win or any of that. You do get some Xbox Live stuff but the buy in for those games is like 50,000 so if you just downloaded this, get some money and hone your skills then take it online. if you don't know how to play Texas Hold 'Em, well your in luck because the game has many instructions on how to play. The graphics are fine, if there are any graphics. There is only one background to play on and it looks pretty dull. There are piles of chips to admire in their HDness but there is next to zero voice acting and no character modling. Because of the lack of visual flair in this game I can't say great things about the graphics. The sound is lack luster and there isn't much of it. The sounds of the card shuffling and the music is very remanicant of some old saloon movies. It fits the game yes and no. If the game was held in a saloon in Texas then It would be good but it is supossed to be in a Vegas like casino. It is Texas Hold Em' so the Saloon music may be to fit a Texas theme. But in the end, I think the sound falls flat on its face. Right now August 24th 2006 this game was and is for now free. The time is 12:40 US West Coast time. Even if you got 5 mins of fun out of this game it is free so it pretty much Counter acts eachother. The Xbox Live adds some longevity to the game but not much. Fun for a day and then ou'll think that its taking up space on your hard drive. 6.1-Fair
