The 7th Guest was one of the first games I played, back in the 90's. The main character Henry Stauff was quite scary. His voice was chilling and he had a sick sarcastic wit. I thought the graphics were very horror-filled and often grotesque. The main attraction for me was the puzzles. Some were quite maddening. But all were solvable, except for one and I needed a help. It was a Othello-type game, but the spot on the game board were slimy blobs of bacterial growth, they slurped grotesquely as they moved and ate up my playing pieces. I highly recommend this game!
