A very original and interesting premise, albeit a little confusing as well.

Okay, wikipedia didn't have much to say about this game so I did more research and I'm glad I did. This game has a very original premise. Your job is to control both Cookie the yellow rabbit and Cream the pink rabbit. The left analog and L1 and L2 controls the actions of Cookie, the right analog and R1 and R2 controls the actions of Cream. If you're playing one player, you have to play as both of them, AT THE SAME TIME! You get 100 seconds to complete a level, you'll find clocks that will give you more time which I highly recommend getting them as the gold ones will add 50 seconds to your time, the silver ones 20. Every time Cookie or Cream takes a hit, you lose 20 seconds, if you run out of time, you have to start over. You will be needing both characters to get through each level, like if Cream has to pull an object to remove an obstacle on Cookie's side or if Cookie has to push a button to get Cream over a gap or some water. And, you have to keep moving as well, if you stay idle for too long, these Time Stealers will show up and drain your time twice as fast and whatever rabbit it latches on to will have to run around in circles until the Time Stealer leaves. The game gets really frustrating near the end as you sometimes have to make both rabbits do things simultaneously and it's VERY easy to screw up. Some bosses are tedious to fight given that you have to make Cookie do one thing and Cream do another at the same time or almost the same time while watching out for the boss, basically, if you can't pat your head and rub your stomach at the same time and you have no friends, this game is definitely not for you. If you have a friend, this game, I imagine, is a great deal easier (I never actually played 2 player so I can't vouch for this). There are a few parts which really irritated me though, like when Cookie & Cream both have to row a canoe. The Bonus World (which is optional and becomes available upon beating the game) is a place I've never beaten, the 4th level is my main complaint about the game, you have to beat 4 sections, section 1 and 3 are nothing that a seasoned platformer can't beat but section 2 and 4 are unbearable, in section 2, Cookie has a complete a sliding puzzle to get Cream to the other side (yeah, you've probably seen them before outside of video games, they're very annoying). And the solution is always random. If you have the patience to get past that, section 4 is worse, you have to complete a puzzle similar to the Rubik's Cube. The Rubik's Cube is the most evil puzzle known to mankind, you can see why I'm so frustrated with Bonus World Level 4. Now, you can buy this game for cheap and if you see this game, I'd highly recommend getting it, especially if you have a friend to play it with. It's a very fun and original game (aside from Bonus World which is optional and has no reward, that is). If you're a fan of puzzle games or are just sick and tired of games that repeat the same stuff used over and over again ad nauseum, add this game to your collection.
