A game with a story to tell.
First thing first, I don't agree with most of the reviews I've read. The game is not "too easy", it's definitely no walk in the park. It would take the player a few moments to figure out the best approach to handle a situation; your enemies wouldn't just die from a single punch, it'd take a series of strikes from you. As you progresses, the "boss" fights will get tougher. It'd be a challenge and you'd get a kick out of it when the cut scene cuts in.
The second complain I often hear about is the "limited move sets". Come on, this is Spiderman we are talking about here. I don't know what those people were expecting, but those moves are what I've had expected from Spiderman. Sure, the game design -- it being an open world game, the stealth attacks, etc... bear resemblance to the Batman Arkham Series, but is that such a bad thing? The idea isn't new, but the visuals are. Spiderman is known for his stealthiness, and this is brought out in the game.
What I love about The Amazing Spider-man is the story telling, the way the story unfolds as I play it. What I love about is the excellent voice acting. They did a wonderful job, especially the guy playing Peter Parker. The developers couldn't have done a better job at bringing out the character of Spiderman. I enjoyed this game thoroughly.
