"The things I do for lust!"
So, what's the big deal of Bard's Tale.
Well, it's a funny game, and that's what makes it special.
While other RPG games invest in their characters depth and storyline, Bard's Tale invest on humor.
THey actually plan to do the oposite of other games. The game's story ca be pretty good, but has some loose ends. The characters have no depth what-so-ever.
The main character, for instance, is completely Shallow and predictable (in a god way). They didn't even go through the trouble of giving him a name. He's simply called The Bard.
But that's good, cuz that's what makes Bard's Tale a funny game.
In conclusion, the Bard's Tale is a good game if you want humor, and not story and depth. IT's an RPG that will keep you enternain, but won't make you reflect about the meaning of life.
