well what can i say about this game. Being the beatles fan I am i had to check it out (and by check it out I mean buy it the first day) so now that I have what do i think? Well i guess i cant really say im dissapointed i mean it is rockband and it is the beatles. I really dont know what i was expecting from it. I guess I thought it was gonna be rock band and the beatles coming together (no joke intended) and instead what I got was a taste of both. From the rockband i get the core gameplay and everything plays the same but my main complaint is well its just too easy. i mean the beatles werent the most musically talented people on earth they were known for there songwriting but expecting rockband i just didnt get it, its just not rockband without the huge hammerons and impossible solos and of course big rock endings. its un beatle like to have them but it sometimes makes me wish i was just playing rb2. as for the beatles I got the music or at least some of it. i guess i dont really mind considering the songs not featured in the game probably wouldnt have been too much fun but Its so easy anyway why not just put more in. Another thing I already know a lot about the beatles but having a back story or more info would have been good. It doesnt feel like your living the beatles life in story mode it feels like your playing rockband with a bit of a backstory. but its not even rockband because all your doing is playing a few songs then moving on. now that weve got the comparrisens to the beatles and rockband out of the way. hows the actual game? well there are some things great about it and some things not so great. for example I dont like how everything is unlocked from the begining. sure you dont have to waste your time going through story mode but it also gives u nothing to aim for. its like playing a game youve already beat. you play it for fun which is alright but it also would have been nice to get some achevment out of it.the animation in this game as you may have heard is amazing I cant complain about it but It does kinda piss me off sometimes how you cant actually take a good look at it because you have to look at the notes. some of the songs would have been nice just to watch. maybe they should have like a movie mode where you can just watch the song, sure it would be stupid but no more stupid than making the best quality of the game something your never gonna see. In conclusion the beatles rockband is a great game and because of its easieness may be a good place to start if you havnt played any other rockband games but if your a master and not a beatles fan its best left alone
