For the first time in a long time, I enjoyed a music game this much
This time around, RB has one of the biggest names in music for the game: The Beatles. Well known around the world, the Fab Four has made it big in the music world and has stepped up to the plate and they made a big grand slam.
TBRB to make it short, has 45 songs from The Beatles career, from the early days to the later years till the break up of the band. As a player of both GH and RB, this was indeed a welcome change in both the series and the game in general.
Gameplay wise, you play Story Mode of The Beatles. You start when they rise to fame and then start touring around the world. From there, they leave the touring behind and get started recording some of their big hits, leading up to the Rooftop Concert near the end of the group's career. No matter what insterment you play, it provides the same order. But that's where it becomes different.
Even if many say that it's a step down on difficulty, the challenge is still there. Ringo, best known for being the drummer of the band, provides a good test for drummers out there in his well known yet hard beats. The guitar can be hard because, well, this is The Beatles we are talking about here.
Even after beating the game once, I want to go back and play again on a different insterment because it's that fun. And don't get me started on how 6 people can now play songs now.
With future DLC on the way soon (The first being Abbey Road) The Beatles Rock Band is something that I haven't said since Super Mario Galaxy came out: Perfect and All You Need Is Love.
