Family Friendly Gaming at its best

User Rating: 10 | The Bible Game PS2
There have been a ton of video games in the past to share eastern religions for years now. Finally, in a country (America) where 70% of the population claims to be Christian, there is a game on the consoles for the overwhelming majority. It has been an extremely long draught for Christians when it comes to the consoles (8-bit NES). Hopefully this is the start of a trend.

The graphics in this game are simply gorgeous, and the music totally ROCKS!!! What really stuck out to me is how balanced this game is. They put so much variety in there in the way of mini games you play by yourself, to the party games, to the trivia questions. I found some things I excelled at, and others I was humbled. The questions from the Holy Bible range from amazingly simple, to brain stumping hard.

The questions (which is a part of the game, but not the biggest part) themselves are all from the Old Testament. This totally takes away any of the false accusations that it could be anti-Semitic in any way, shape, or form.

The host is really cool, and adds a real touch of realism to the 'Do Unto Others' game. The diverse set of cast is also a nice touch.

The blessing other players is a nice touch, as is the wrath of God. Aside from the amazing balance, and variety in this party/trivia game - the plethora of mini games, along with their fun-factor will be the real draw here. This is a game that believers, and non-believers alike can enjoy.

I played this game with my three year old son, and we both had a blast. Some of the mini games were a little too complex for him, so I would recommend ages 5 and up. My wife and I had a blast playing each other.

This game can be summed up in one word - fun.
