I'm a big fan of the show. I decided to try this out. Good value considering how much an hour or 2 of personal training is these days. You can train with Bob from the show or Jillian. I tried the Bob mode. You train as one of the previous contestants on the show. They lose weight as you lose weight. Seems pretty cool in general. It gives you a daily calorie recommendation, has some recipes, and sets you up with workouts to meet specific goals. Haven't tried the challenge mode yet, as I just got it yesterday. You have 3 different durations for training (1 month 2 months and 3 months I think).
Sorry to not have used it more than one workout at this point, but not much reviews are out there so I thought I'd add my 2 cents. Some of the exercises use the balance board, and others you just hold the wii remote. I trained with the platform on beginner mode. If you're afraid to spend $40 bucks, you could rent it first to see if you like it. The rental fee would be all you would lose if you don't like it.
Graphics were not impressive, but were sufficient. I have a feeling true gamers will not be impressed by graphics.
