why do people over exaggerated points to make a game look worse than it is

sure the game has some faults but its still a decent budget game made by a small company. First off i agree with other reviewer that the voice acting is pretty bad but so are 8 out of 10 other games i have played in my life and i have never played a game because i really wanted to hear a person read lines in a convincing voice. I bumped up my AA and AF and maxed the resolution on this game and graphics looked pretty good so to say it looked like a game from 1995 is ridiculous. the way the controls are to walk in the game bothered me a bit though but i got used to it after an hour or so. The game still kept me entertained enough to keep on playing and i liked the way you can upgrade weapons and armor by combining different things even though you can only wear a vest and helmet. You also have 3 character types to choose from depending on what style of play you like and as they level you can choose more options for your character. the bottom line is i have played much better games but i have played much worse games that were made for a lot more money than this game and was less entertained so its a decent game to pass the time. To me the graphics are an 8 the game play is a 7.
