Most of us wouldn't have given this game a second look except for all of the great reviews that it has been receiving. The voice acting is really great including Vin Diesel and Xibit. The story is not of the movie which is good considering licenced games (for the most part). The story takes place in Butcher Bay which is a prison of corruption and secrets. It is a very dark tale that between the language, and violence most certainly help it in the M rating. Kids probably shouldn't even be in the house when you play. The graphics are very good for the game. In fact, between the graphics and the sound, I can no longer play this game in the dark.. It's too intense for that. However, that is a good thing, in that it is so immersive and fast paced. One of the things that I find annoying in games (the non-RPG ones) is too many quests that you have to travel a long way for. There isn't too much of that in this game. There are quests, but the distance is short, they are usually of the variety that this person wants you to kill this other person, then that's it. Even though the reviews were above 9, I don't think that it's quite there. A really good game, that surprised many people.
