If you are a fan of first person shooters, then this is game to get. I rarely write reviews on Gamespot, but this game is inspiring. Frankly, before I played this game I thought that Vin was nothing but a modern-day meathead, and his presence in this game actually made me doubt buying it, However, Riddick is probably one of slickest characters in ANY videogame. Nothing about this game comes off as corny or second-rate, and when you are finished with it you feel like you experienced something very well thought out. The action in the game in varied in such a a way that you are not caught up in boring repitition. The game lets you play one way, then changes up. Nothing too laborious either. Just clear cut fun in random varities. The game isn't too long either, which in my opinion is a plus. Games, much like good books, need to be the appropiate length otherwise the experience is lost on the fluf. The game ends where it should end, and it is appealing enough to play it all over again. In short - this is the only FPS consle shooter that can even begin to contend with Halo. It's that good.
