Multiplayer Review

User Rating: 8.5 | The Conduit WII
Weapons: The Carbonizer and Rocket Launcher are overpowered weapons but have cons. The Rocket Launcher, of course, is one shot per reload and far distance shots will travel pretty slow to reach its target. The Carbonizer can run out of energy very fast and has bad damage at long distance, but is a beast at short distance. Both reload slow. These overpowered weapons have noticeable disadvantages unlike the MP40 of WaW. The other weapons are pretty balanced so no need to worry about them.

Maps: Okay, here is my problem with the maps during FFA. Some are so small that getting killed is very likely. HVS made the maps in 3 categories: Small, Medium, Large. They even gave recommended number of players in each map but this doesn't stop people from voting for the small maps. Imagine FFA matches where you're against 11 other players in a very small map. Chaos is everywhere. When your shooting after someone, most likely someone else behind you is shooting you. So once you killed your target, your dead one second later. My score at the end of a match was 21-20. I got a kill for every death. My score was average but I wanted an above average.(The funny thing about that match was that there were only 10 people playing. I can imagine 12 people playing >.>)

Modes: Here are the mode descriptions.

FFA:
Quick play: Player that reaches kill limit wins; pretty basic.

Marathon: Player with the most kills within time limit wins; whats the difference other then 10 extra minutes and no kill limit.

3 Strikes: Each player has only 3 live; ooh a survival mode.

Last man standing: Each player has only 10 loves; whats the difference other then 7 extra lives.

ASE Football: Player that holds the ASE for the longest wins; very fun :)

Bounty Hunter: Player who has the most points wins. Player gains points for killing target, no points for killing the hunter that is hunting you, and minus points for killing innocents; very fun :)

Team Reaper:
Team quick play: Team that reaches kill limit wins; this time with a team

Team Marathon: Team with the most kills within time limit wins; same thing

Shared Stock: Each team shares a certain number of lives; you and your team better watch each other's backs.

Team Objective: I forgot the names but I remember the description. There are 3 modes: Team that reaches capture limit wins, team that reaches capture or kill limit wins, and team that captures the single ASE wins.

The modes are repetitive. Some modes are just duplicates with only a small difference. For example 3 strikes and last man standing. Team objective should be in Team reaper, but it's my opinion :)

Graphics: To be honest, I don't very care if the graphics aren't incredibly realistic. If I can distinguished my opponents body parts apart and their clothes, then that's all I care about. I don't need to see every hair on my character and every wrinkle on his suit. If the gameplay is good, then the game is good. For people who care about graphics, it looks very good for the Wii, one of the best. It's not XBOX360 graphics but it's pretty close to it.

Controls: Everybody knows that the Conduit has the best controls and control setup so it's not a secret.

There's no offline multiplayer so that's a bummer but people have to understand that the Wii has its limits.

Overall I'll give the multiplayer mode a 8.5/10 because the Wii is my only console. If people have a XBOX360 or PS3 then you're better off buying a FPS game from those consoles.
