Frustrating but intriguing version of the book and movie. True to both. Good graphics & voices. Promises hours of play.
You start out in the Louvre. There is a body on the floor, and it's that of the museum cryptographer's grandfather. He set up the scene to leave clues only she and few others would understand.
One of the lucky few is Dr. Robert Langdon. His expertise will come in handy as he and Sophie scour the museum for clues.
They will also be involved in a fight for their lives, as French authorities are convinced Langdon is part of the murder. He strives to prove his innocence as well as piece together the clues.
Let me say that fight scenes are the most annoying part of this game. It would have been so much easier to have a natural style of combat movement rather than the pain-in-the-neck button sequences.
Other than that, however, the game offers stimulation for the brain as well as the reflexes. It invites many hours of return play and will prove a tough egg to crack.
Not perfect, but worth the time.
