Let me put it this way, after playing through this game 5 times I read the graphic novel, then played the game again. It's just so good! The Darkness is an extremely addictive game once you actually get good at it. The multiplayer is crap, however the single player is incredible. Once you obtain all the Darkness powers the game becomes even more fun as you have more and more options to brutally mutilate your foes. My personal favorite weapon, The Darkness Guns, a set of weapons that feed off your power rather then a stash of ammo Johnny mysteriously hides on his person. I hid in my room for 3 days playing this game over and over again it's that much fun. The story is intriguing, however the whole single player can be completed in a number of hours, I only wish they'd put out some DLC that would make me want to play again. Another fun option when killing your foes is devouring your fallen (or live) foes hearts, yummy huh? The main thing that brought this game down is that once you've defeated a certain number of foes in an area there are no more. I just wish they'd make a second Darkness, I'd buy that in a heart beat. (no pun intended)
