"A great valued pack"

User Rating: 7.8 | The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind - Game of the Year Edition XBOX
After winning several awards for Elder scrolls 3, morrowind, Bethesda followed up the Pc version with 2 large expansion packs featuring new land and content for the game. Now finally, Morrowind Game of the Year edition is released for the Xbox, incorporating the original game and both expansion packs in one package.

These new expansion packs - Tribunal and Bloodmoon - both add tons of new content to an already packed game. The stories and missions for the expanisons are both interesting and varied. My one complaint that I had with the game remains unchanged, however. The collision detection has not been updated for morrowind. I understand that a large game like this is bound to have some problems, but on a number of occasions I found myself walking through wall, sticking to lamps and furniture and even falling knees deep into the floor.

The graphics in the game are nice, although it feels kind of mundane sometimes. The music, which is nice for the 1st couple of minutes, gets very boring and repetiitve.

My complaints with this game, however should not stop you from buying it. This open ended game gives you more freedom to do what you want then any other game before it, yes , even GTA 3.

Wanna be a thief that only works at night? A soldier that fights demons? A mage that attacks civilians and guards? You are free to do anything you want, whenever you want. This being said, It is also incredibly easy to get lost or to ot be able to find where you should go next. Any ways, go out and try this game, and if you own the original morrowind, Trade it in for the better valued version-this one.
