The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind is an ultimately engaging experience that will leave any player satisfied.
This is one of the most addictive, immersive games you will ever play. You can walk for hours and hours, looking for caves, or try and become the Grandmaster of the Fighters Guild, or look for alchemy ingredients or... the list goes on. There are also many towns and cities in this game, ranging from tiny fishing villages on the shores of the Sea of Ghosts, to massive and majestic cities like Vivec. Within each town, there are inns, shops, people, guilds, houses, items, basically everything you need. There are also many random quests that can be started from inside towns, to earn more gold. Each town and city has it's own unique feel, and overall, the game comes off as feeling like a living, breathing world.
The graphics in this game also hold up incredibly well. Each area is very detailed, as are all of the weapons and armor (of which there are huge amounts of) The sound is also quite good, just good enough so that it immerses you in the game even more.
Everything in this game has it's own name. From an undescribably desolate inn on the edge of the map, called the End of the World, to individually named caves and people, the dev team took a LOT of time thinking up names. I really appreciate the amount of work that the developers put into this game, and you can clearly see that this game was lovingly made.
In conclusion, this is the game that had me tied to my XBOX for so long.It took me a year and a bit to stop playing this game. However, during the time that I played it, I had some of my most memorable moments in gaming. This is a game that I will look back upon, when I am old, and say, "yeah, that right there is the reason I loved games." A work of utmost quality, and anyone that calls themselves a gamer should have this one under their belt.
