One of the better games you'll ever play.

User Rating: 8.8 | The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind - Game of the Year Edition XBOX
This is a game that is noteworthy of two things: its size and depth. The only other game that beats this in terms of depth and size is its sequel, Oblivion. Morrowind has a darker, more gritty feel than TES: IV, and this is both a good and a bad thing. What Morrowind can do that Oblivion can't is make you feel lost. I don't know whether or not it's the difficulty of effectively using the map, or the feeling of desertion when deep in a dungeon, but when you seem lost in Morrowind, you probably are. The world offers an atmosphere like no other in the aspect of its isolationism of the player. The sounds, creepy enemy character models and first person perspective make this one of the more suspenseful and frightening titles on the market. You could be encountering an ash vampire for the first time or hearing the wheezing breaths of a zombie on Solstheim; whatever it is, it sure as hell is suspenseful. Overall this offers a different experience from TES: IV, but a fantastic one nonetheless.
