First I'm going to say that The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind changed my definition of what a good game should be like, now I'm going to tell you why. The most standout feature of the game is that it gives you the ability to roam around a gigantic world without being hassled to start the main quest, and the level of detail put into this game for how big it is just breathtaking. You can choose from ten differant races and there are tons of classes, but the three main skills are Mage, Warrior, and Thief. There are more than 200 books in the game that you can just pick up and read whenever you need a break from all your quests. And that brings me to another thing, there are enough sidequests in this game to last about two times longer than the main quest in Halo 2, you can join all kinds of guilds like the assassin's guild and the Mages Guild and all sorts of stuff, heck, you can even joind a political party and try to destroy the other political parties. Plus there are tons of random quest scatters throughout the world. The customization is also amazing, if you are a mage, you can create your own potions and spells with various effects, heres an example, I had a mage that was at level 20 and I created a spell that stuns the enemy and lights them on fire. On to gameplay, the combat system is the only flaw in the game, but it isn't a major flaw. The controls are easy to get used to and simple. In the graphics department there is olny one issue, there is a collision detection issue, so when your character dies he will kinda just fall and half of his body will disappear into the wall. Overall TES III: Morrowind is one of the greatest RPGs of all time in my oppinion. So if you have A LOT of time on your hands (and you'll need lots of time because this game will suck your life into a void) then this is a must play!
