I'll try to keep this short as so much has already been written about this game. First, there is no wrong way to play this game. You can try many different character paths, spells, equipment, etc. and still do well. Its interesting to hear how others have played the game and still succeed even though they did things very differently than you. Second, can anyone really turn on Oblivion and just play for 30 minutes? Sometimes I'm hesitant to turn on the game because I know I will play it for hours. Such is the spell this game can cast on the player. When playing Fable I told myself how Fable was a grown up The Legend of Zelda. In many ways, Oblivion feels like a grown up version of Fable. It has a great storyline (I haven't even done the main quest yet and I'm 60+ hours into the game), believable characters, realistic environments, incredible orchestral soundtrack, etc. This game truly is next gen and something that could be appreciated by adults and younger people alike.
Lastly, I would recommend Oblivion to anybody. Several of my friends have it, we've all put many hours into it and we still think it's a phenomenal game. Good job Bethesda.
