Oblivion is truly an immense game, and I can guarantee that you will spend many hours playing this.

Wow, where do I begin? I have been playing this game for over 40 hours now, and I haven't even discovered half of the dungeons that this game has. This is a truly amazing game. The animation for the most part is good, however some animations, such as the horses, could use some work. What's even more amazing is the AI. Every single one of them have 24 hour schedules. This means that they will eat, sleep, drink, go for a walk, and more. However, the creators of Oblivion said that there would be un-scripted fighting. For the entire time that I've played, I've never seen a un-scripted fight. The fighting mechanics are very good, and feels very realistic. When a strong hit occurs, the fighter will be staggered back, giving you more time to hit them with your weapons. I find casting spells much more convenient than in Morrowind (The third in the series), as in Oblivion you can cast spells without putting away your weapon. Another flaw that this game has is when you are Arch-Mage of the Mage's Guild, it will not let you drop some items, saying that they're still quest items, when the quest has ended. Deer in the game will also just stand and look at you if your on a horse, but run as soon as you get off of it. This isn't a big problem, but it still isn't very realistic. What sets Oblivion apart from other RPG's is that you actually do your own fighting. You block exactly when you want, you slash with your sword exactly where you want. I find this more to be like a massive shooting game, only with swords, where you can do anything you want at any time you want. That sentence basically sums up Oblivion. And believe me, once you buy it, you'll be putting s LONG time into it. This game is highly recommended. If you haven't bought it yet, go do so now.
