After seeing the previews on Gamespot for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion; and being a huge fan of the first xbox, i decided that i was going to upgrade to an HDTV along with purchasing an XBOX360 for the launch date, then once it was pushed back and i was stuck with an XBOX360 and no RPG to sink my teeth into; i was p*ssed to say the least, after finally having the game in my hands and in my xbox, I will have to I am very impressed, the voice acting is great, the graphics are amazing (a few glitches i noticed early on, but nothing to complain to much about) and also riding the horse seemed to get uninteresting fast, I am only about 4hrs into this game as of yet, but this has got to be one of the greatest RPG's of this ERA; not the best.. but close. KOTAR has got to be my greastest time with any single game, bar none. But this game while not all that same as far as gameplay is concerned, and while not appealing to all due to the sense of not being set one one certain path, this game has a main quest that is actually very interesting; don't know why anyone would wanna read the dumb books though!!!!!!!
Gameplay: The game play is pretty outstanding, although the start of the game just running through a sewer killing rats was leaving me alittle displeased, but once the plot/storyline gets you wrapped up into it (and trust me it will) nothing on the 360 comes close to this game as far as gameplay; outstanding openended RPG!!!!
Graphics: This can be put very easily: AMAZING!!! Has got to be the best looking video game i've ever seen.
Sound: High quality
Value: It's elder scrolls.. enough said
