Beautiful graphics, beautiful gameplay, well executed storyline, great character scripts, and one of the most open ended world ever. Oblivion excels at taking a cliche and transforming it into a new concept. The first person perspective works suprisingly well with the combat system and the interfaces work superbly. The learning curve may be longer than some other games but overall it is not so bad for a game that has so many options and different styles of play.
Once you do figure out how the game works it is a thrill to play. I would recommend this to anyone who has money to spare and especially people who like rpgs with a whole mess of choices and dialogue.
