GREAT RPG GAME YET
The game is set during the dark ages basicly or medival y our pick either way you are a prisoner of the empire and about to be freed for good behavior ya....right.....The emperor has been attacked and is needed to escape but by chance his escape route is in the cell your in......from there the story unfolds about a dark world known as oblivion and its your duty to close them shut for ever........
The game has alarge range of items such as horses to ride and weapons to wear around your nice armor. The weapons are ranged to magic to bows to swords and etc leaving y ou to pick what you love to do to your enemy either slice and dice or smash them into small pieces up to you.....
The npcs are nicely scripted having them do what they want to do from walking around to talking to random people about random subjects and also a day and night system that allows them to sleep and close shop or move out and have a beer a the tavern make the game feel alittle more realistic.
The environment is nicely done having grass and trees pop at you giving you the effect of hey I AM IN A FOREST COOL type of thing. There are many animals such as horses which npcs will ride to do their own things, there are hunters that will hunt and bandits that will attack and rob you and of course there is our lovely police force the imperial guards these guys will patrol on horses and will aid or arrest you depending on what you have doen lately. There are alarge are to explore such as dungeons and castles and towns.
The game also allows you to do what you want not like others forcing you to do the main quest but this allows you to say i hate the main quest i want to do this instead allowing total freedom.
There are bugs though such as npcs will not spawn correctly, npcs getting stuck now and then and loading- the loading sometimes crashes but this is fixed with a little restart and is caused by doing too much while the game loads.
The good thing is loading don't take that long to load giving you some freedom of jumping around into each area.Also classes and abilitys are another neat thing such as sneak mode allowing you to break in a house and steal what ever you can fit in your pockets. There are guilds to join but note there doesn't feel like many of them but there are some hidden ones that don't have ranks but do have fun quests.The combat system is also nicely done, taking out exp points and placing with what your characters learns such as if he battles alot of hard characters he will level up by hitting them a large amount of times or if the player is hit alot he will gain a level in the field which helps him out. The combat allows full control which means you can block when you want and swing when you want and also do strong combos to beat down your enemy.
Other then that you can discover the world on your own adventure. So buy if your looking for a good rpg free moving game or buy it if your just bored and need something to do while ps3 and other games come out.....
