When you sit down to play an RPG on a video game console your normally expecting a Final Fantasy type of game play with an expansive world and lots of weapons and armor to choose from. Now with the current technology you can actually see the rivets of your armor and the stitches in your leather with the Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion. This is one RPG that you could beat in twenty hours or so if you hit all the main quests and went straight to the end. The real beef of this great game comes from the many side quests and guilds you can pick up along your way. With an excellent character customization from the start you learn about the plot with the King in the cellars. Once you figure out what kind of person you want to become in the game your set loose, free to do whatever you please. You could be evil and kill whoever you want or be a martyr and safe everyone that you can. The game really has no limits as to what you can do. Following the story will eventually lead you to some very cool looking armor and with the current expansions you can even have your own tower. When you find yourself walking around the world of Oblivion at 2 am you'll know why this is one of the best Role Playing games ever made.
