The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is simply put... an amazing game. With over 200 hours of play time, so many factions to join (Dark Brotherhood, Mage's Guild, Fighter's Guild, Blades, Thieves Guild, Knights), so many quests to explore (faction quests, the main story quests, daedric shrine quests, side quests from townspeople), and above all, great gameplay. The game combines many fantastic elements of stealth, action, role-playing, strategy, adventure, and first person into one amazing package. The game includes hundreds of mines to explore, daedric shrines, guilds, towns, palaces, castles, rivers, underwater ruins to restore, and much much more. Anyone can simply pick up this game and play it, while at the same time, veterans will find this a challenge and an overall great edition. One will most likely not return to play Morrowind after seeing the breathtaking views of this world. There simply is not enough time in a day to enjoy all this game has to offer.
On the con side, however, there are a few bugs that detract from the experience, but are only noticeable because the game is so magnificent in every other aspect. Patches have done wonders on this problem though.
