The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is probably one of the best games out there. When i first played the game admitedly i hated it slightly for the stickyness and the fact the sound fell out of sync randomly but it stopped doing that a while ago and this is why im re writing me review. The gameplay is fantastic it really is there is so much to do, so many places to explore, so many dungeons to crawl, questing and slaughtering of many a monster.Firstly though you have to get out of your prison cell before you can do any of this, after you have learned the basics of play and picked your birth sign and class you are almost ready to leave the sewers. If you feel you have made a mistake on the race etc you have picked you can change them just before you leave. The game looks stunning and there is no set path to the game, there is a main questline but you dont have to jump straight into it. With Oblivion it is quite easy to just run in one direction and keep running and see what you come across, for instance if you run straight forward after getting out the sewers and cross the river you will come across an old ruin that you can explore and clear of bandtis and other monsters till your heart is content. The games sounds are all very well done, and the voice acting is top notch with people like Patrick Stewart and Sean Bean. The game really sucks you in and hours can pass without you even realising it and that is what makes a good game, something that can drag you in and make you feel like you are actualy there. If you haven't bought this game yet, i highly recomment it to you, it has so much replay value and so much depth to the game you will probably miss the first time you play and maybe even the second or third. All in all Oblivion is an amazing game with so many quests it will have you entertained for hours. They really went all out on this game and the fact they are releasing expansions means there is going to be alot more questing and quirky characters to come.
