As gamespot says, it's probably the best RPG ever.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is the fourth game in The Elder Scrolls series. The Elder Scrolls is famous for their "sandbox" gametype. That means that you can play however you want. I've been playing for about 30 hours, and haven't completed the main-quest yet. It just took me a few minutes to realise how fantastic this game is. Oblivion works as an FPS and that makes the battles more deeper than any fantasy game before. The story begins with that you are in prison. You know that you never will come out. But suddenly the Emperor of Cyrodil comes. He says that he has dreamt about you, and that you will save his kingdom from the Daedrics, the evil one's, and find his last heir. He releases you and helps you out from the prison. At the end it happens! The Emperor is dead, he was killed by a daedric warrior. You must then take his amulate and give it to his last heir to destroy the daedric evilness. Of course you don't need to play the main-quest, you can be evil if you want to, well infact you can do almost everything in this game. The are over 1000 different characters, each with their own look, behavior, personality etc. The voice acting is really good and so the AI. They act as they were real. The world is big. No it isn't big it's enormous. It's almost impossible to explore 100% of the game. There nine cities, and dozens villages. But this isn't everything. There are lots of ruins, dungeons, caves etc to explore. The graphics are really impressive. The areas are extremely detailed, both in- and outside. One of the coolest things in Oblivion, is the physic engine Havok. If you drop an apple in the water for example, you will see that it will start to float. It's this small things that makes a game so good. The only "bad" thing in Oblivion is the race design, they don't look great but it doesn't matter when its basically an FPS. So if you like RPGs you should buy it now! If you haven't played an RPG before do like I did, buy it now! Bethesda you've done it again, and it's way better than Morrowind!
