The Best RPG we've had in a while.
User Rating: 9.5 | The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion X360
Oblivion is an extremely fun game continuing the Elder Scrolls series. You start out as a prisoner who happens to be in a cell that is an escape route from the Imperial City when the Emperor is leaving to escape. You follow along and eventually witness his assassination and you select your class and star sign, which will greatly affect how your character develops along the way. You then escape, and the real game begins. You are free to roam the map, and the map is massive, with several cities and a quick-travel option so you don't have to spend an hour running from one city to another. The storyline quickly evolves into a grand plot, and there are six factions you can join too, adding even more to do. If that doesn't quench your thirst, there are a seemingly infinite number of ancient tombs you can raid for money, treasure, and weapons. You can buy a house in every city, which is quite helpful once you buy all of the furniture so you can store your excess equipment. To do the main story and the six factions, the game takes roughly 100 hours (and that's on easy). If you have a ton of time to spare and are looking for an extremely satisfying game, go pick up The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Oblivion did leave one question though, when does Elder Scrolls V come out?
